In this special session for Disability History Month, we were joined by Lord David Blunkett, Stephen Timms MP, Maria Eagle MP, Marie Tidball MP and Joe Watkinson of Disability Labour to discuss the 20th anniversary of Labour’s 2005 Disability Discrimination Act.
The panel discussed the campaign for greater equality for disabled people and the passage of the 2005 DDA, as well as today’s challenges and campaigns and how the current Labour Government is addressing them.
